Everyone has a way they want to be perceived. A cover story. A lie. They tell you what they want you to believe, but i think actions speak louder than words, especially the ones we take out of loyalty...or a sense of duty...or love...or out of hope for a second chance. Isn’t that what we all want?
I was always seen as a super bubbly and happy person throughout high school. I was in a bunch a different sports and clubs. I was in the honor society and was captain of the cheer team. Everyone saw me as this ball of sunshine. Little did they know I was suffering from social anxiety and depression which eventually led to self harm. I hid it everyday. So yes I think everyone has this image they want everyone to believe. And yes I think actions speak louder than words. If you say one thing but do another I will believe your actions over your words every time.
Ok then.....
Idk
We should perceive happiness and joy and love our best lives
...uh, I guess?
don't look at me. I never lie, not ever. Kind of a pet peeve of mine is when I get lied to by people I thought I could trust. I figure if someone isn't worth their word, what are they really worth? but you're right. Most people are a cover story, a lie, a highlight reel of the life they want you to believe they lead, and a different person when the spotlight is off of them. Actions do speak louder than words, and actions tell truths words try so very hard to hide. I think we all want truth, honesty, loyalty, friendship, love. Hell, I know that's all I want.
I dont know, maybe
