What are some of your last thoughts before you drift off to sleep?

I wish people would stop complaining over diversity while not knowing what the word even means.

What did you think of the newest SAW movie, Jigsaw?

It was the biggest turd of a movie I ever watched in theaters.

What's your take on Netflix's Death Note's word of mouth now that the movie is out? Especially given that one corny screaming scene - https://youtu.be/aPulAk0nuT4. Also do you think this could negatively affect director Adam Wingard's career?

At this point, I don't even know how to answer this question. I'm gonna need more time to think about this.

What are your thoughts on the reviews of the Netflix Death Note?

Not surprised it got mixed reviews but I'll have to see it myself to be the judge of that.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming IT remake thus far?

Looks promising and could be better than the miniseries.

What are your thoughts on Hollywood blaming Rotten Tomatoes for its movies bombing?

It's scapegoating really. Their movies are bombing because of many things but RT isn't the one to blame and it's beachside people are too goddamn apathetic to realize that RT is a site that gathers reviews from all sites and fills the meter to determine if the films rotten or fresh.

Apparently the creators of the Death Note have seen the Netflix adaptation and they actually love it. And they also don't mind that it takes place in America instead of Japan. Do you think this is a promising sign for the movie? And will the "controversy" die now or will it still persist?

They said the same with Tobe Hopper praising Texas Chainsaw 3D and that turned out horrible. As for the controversies, they will always persist no matter how good or bad the film is.

Are you by any chance considering doing a review of The Dark Tower?

(falls down the stairs!)
On a serious note: I might but we'll see since not a lot of people are keen with this movie.

What ever happened to your 2017-18 movies that will suck list on letterboxd?

I deleted the list cause if was just too predictable and felt the list was just me rambling on movies I knew would suck.

Do you think the Netflix Death Note movie will be more successful than the Hollywood Ghost in the Shell?

Depends if it's good or not.

What did you think of Samurai Jack Season 5? And does it show promise for western animation?

It was flawed but well executed and for TV animation, it pushes boundaries beyond belief. Theatrical animation is a different issue.

What are your favorite video games and why?

Games from the PS2 & SNES era cause those games are the ones we should strive to make.

What do you think of the Ready Player One trailer?

It looks so boring. "Holy grail of pop culture" from a generic book while Spielberg is literally gonna use nostalgia bait as a plot point...

Would you like to see Matt and Trey make a South Park episode where the Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman swap bodies?

Eh, not really.

Do you think Dreamworks should've hired Duncan Jones to direct (and write as well) Ghost in the Shell instead of Rubert Sanders? While I enjoyed Warcraft, I think GitS would've been a better fit for Duncan Jones than Warcraft.

Would loved to see Duncan make a GITS film but in Hollywood, you don't always get what you want.

Would you like to see Trey and Matt make a South Park episode where Cartman finds the Death Note?

That could work but I wanna see Butters or Kyle have the Death Note. The comedy potential for those two are perfect for a Death Note parody episode.

Why is the new Death Note trailer getting a divided opinion? Seems like it should be getting a better reception.

It's pretty obvious as to why it's been getting a polarizing reaction which is 2 reasons:
1. The changes made to translate Death Note to mainstream audiences which will always piss fans of the property like say changing L into a black guy with a hoodie or Light looking like an average punk teenager despite the fact changes are necessary in order to translate a work of animation into real life and for the most part, it could work out depending on the filmmaker handling the source material.
2. Whitewashing - Jesus H Macy, this never goes away. People consider the new film a whitewash of the original author's work cause it was made in Japan and that's their logic behind boycotting this film despite the fact Death Note's themes of justice, order, God and paradise are not limited to Japan considering Death Note's story is universal to the whole world and ANY country can write a Death Note like-story. Also, there's 5 Death Note movies made in Japan including a live action series drama... They shot their own arguments in their feet.

What were your thoughts on the Hollywood Ghost in the Shell?

The first time I watched the live action GITS film, I didn't like it at all but the second time I watched it friends, I appreciate it a bit more than the first watch. I find GITS to be a decent adaptation of the franchise with some good visuals that gets bogged down by a script which dumbs down the philosophical themes the series was known. It was a good try though.

What's your favorite Final Fantasy (if any)?

I'm not a major FF fan but soundtrack wise, FFXIII is my favorite OST out of all the games.

Aren't you glad that Transformers 5 is basically underperforming at the box office?

It may have bombed it doesn't mean squat if Paramount relies on international markets to green light more TF movies. Besides, it's up to audiences to fight with their wallets but they keep falling for the same movie they're paying to see again cause everyone are just too guillible to speak out on the stagnant nature of Hollywood.

What is something you have lost, that you wish you could get back?

My PS2 and GameCube games & consoles I sold at GameStop years ago. I was so stupid for selling amazing shit in favor of Crysis 2.

What makes you unique?

Let's just say that I like to express myself straight on and not taking shit from no one. Also, I'm a damn realist.

Do you worry about your future?

Don't we all?
In truth, the future is always scary because it is uncertain but in the end, that's what life is: A road of uncertain success and failure that could lead to something beautiful or meaningless depending on the choices we make that sets our paths.

Have you ever been madly jealous? What did you do?

With love, not really but when someone gets a really cool collector's item, DVD or Blu-Ray, I drip with so much blushing jealousy.

What are the best remedies for someone who has just been dumped?

Can't say. Never was I interested in dating.

Do you “steal” food from refrigerator in late evenings and nights?

Of course not. (Fact: Of course he does)

Would you rather be able to visit 100 years in the past or 100 years in the future.

100 years into the future.

Are you afraid of the future?

Who isn't afraid of the future but honestly, I'm not that scared cause I am curious on where humanity will thrive towards next.

Where do you shop the most?

For movies & games, I go to Specs & Best Buy. For clothes, I go for either Old Navy, Hot Topic or any store clothes.

What's the first thing you grab from the refrigerator when you're hungry?

Either some leftovers or anything to ease the hunger.
