EXO (specifically, Minseok and Baekhyun) coined the term because they were amazed at the Filipino EXO-Ls dancing to their songs. [And I think they (those who danced) deserve the rightful credits for that.] However, I don't think that the name is ONLY for those who danced at the VIP Section. It may refer to those who were not on the VIP section but dances to EXO's songs. It may refer to EVERY PH EXO-Ls so I don't think there should be an issue about this. Besides, EXO, as the owner of the new term, did not state that only those who danced in the VIP Section can claim the title. So everyone is free to claim it.

Hi. I researched for this and couldn't find any statement from GDA na nagsasabing bawal ang mini-albums. I checked their site sabi lang naman dun albums (not specifying whether full-length or mini-album). However, outside their site, (Wikipedia, actually, but let's take this as a grain of salt lang since Wikipedia isn't really that reliable) it was stated that extended plays (such as mini-albums) are included in Disk Daesang category as well. Also, A-Pink's Pink Blossom and GOT7's Got Love were also nominated in GDA 2014 Disk Daesang. Both are extended plays. So if they were nominated, then I believe it isn't against the rules for mini-albums to win the Daesang. :)
