If your definition of a ghost is someone hanging around who used to be alive, then no. If your definition is of a malicious presence which wants to pretend to be someone hanging around who used to be alive? Absolutely yes. They do exist - and I have seen, on at least two separate occasions, such evil things in action. They are not harmless and they are not to be played with.
