Why are you such a pro in cooking and whipping up healthy dishes!! Where did you learn and get all those info of food?

Aw this is really flattering thank you! I just play around with the specifications of what do/do not eat and just have fun in the kitchen. There's really no secret to it, some days I would come up with completely new creations and some days I'd take an old family recipe and tweak it to become a healthier choice. You just have to be flexible and open to options! Sometimes the weirdest things can turn out great. A lot of what I make in the kitchen was taught by my mum, she covered basics with me and over the many weekends of cooking together we found and created loads of recipes that were better nutritionally as well as taste wise.
Prior to my lifestyle change I did loads of reading from recipe books (library and mum's collection) and from the net. It took a whole lot of time at first but it's so worth it! I also enjoy a good cooking show (reality or otherwise), so I guess that's where I saw the flair of cooks and picked up a couple of things as well. YouTube has great videos too. I hope this helps :) Good luck in the kitchen!

Hi Ade! What is ur height and weight? (: you look like you lost weight

No way, when was the last you saw me? I've actually gained a couple kilos from exams, so I'm over my usual 50kg now. Last time I measured I was 1.7m

Did you try to apply for those courses but failed to get in?

I didn't apply for any local courses, I just went straight to applying for UCAS

If you didn't study in UK, which was the course and sch you wanted to pursue in SG?

Either Business in SMU or NTU Global Affairs and Public Policy

How much are you spending in average in the UK for your monthly rent, expenses etc? And how much are your uni fees? Why didnt you want to do a degree in singapore? (:

Accommodation: I stayed on campus for my first year and rent was around £146/week, which covered all electricity and water bills. We had to pay £3 for the washer and £1 for the dryer at the launderette. I've moved out to campus and got a flat on my own now, and I'm paying £675/month (averages to around £169/week) but it doesn't cover any bills.
Gym: £170 for a gold gym membership in school. Will be moving out to a gym nearer to my flat, which will probably cost double.
Cards: Got the NUS card which offers various discounts for students and 16-25 railway card which gives ~30% off your train tickets
Groceries: I used to scrimp on this a lot but I don't do that so much anymore, I've learnt to just figure out what I need for the week and buy enough to last me. I didn't really keep tabs on what I was spending on food either, I cooked 95% of my meals and only ate out maximum one meal a week. Even when I was in town, my cousin and I would usually cook at her flat after a day out unless we were really feeling for something.
School fees: It was £16+K in first year, but I only paid £14K because I was offered some kind of grant I think? Pretty sure it's £14.5K for second year.
Visa: I thought I'd include this because it seems like something people would usually forget about, and I just applied for my new one yesterday so I might as well. In first year I paid less than SGD$1000, I think it was a couple of hundred. I can't be too certain because my mum was with me and she paid. This round NHS has increased their charges, and I paid SGD$800+ for it, and another SGD$700+ for the actual visa, so it totaled to SGD$1500+.
I hope this gives you a rough guide of how much you'd be spending if you went overseas. I decided not to stay behind because I couldn't get into the school that I wanted to, and I didn't want to compromise anything else for the final leg of my studies. Also my cousin was already in the same school a year ahead of me, so that made it easier + my mum studied in UK during her teens as well. On the plus side I don't regret going overseas, and I actually can't imagine myself doing my degree here. It would be pretty maddening I would think.

What university and course are you studying and whats the duration like? (:

I'm doing BSc in Accounting and Finance at University of Sussex. It's a 3 year course! Would probably do a masters year in London after that before returning home.

Hi adeline! mind sharing whats your height and weight? your body is to die for! :)

170cm, haven't weighed myself in a while, would prefer not to. Thank you for your kind words though!

What's your trigger food may I ask? This week has been hell and I hope you'll stay strong xx

I don't necessarily have a trigger food per se, I still eat healthily but in unhealthy amounts. Thank you love xx

What's your make up routine like?

Undereye concealer, spot concealing if I feel like it (rarely bother since most days I go out without makeup anyway), tarte powder, 3CE eyebrow pencil to fill in then brush out with Benefit's gimmebrow, hoola bronzer, rockateur blush sometimes, tightline upper lashes and line with dark brown shadow, stila liquid liner if I feel like it sometimes and mascara. Sometimes I highlight my brow bone. Then I choose my lip colour for the day or just go bare. Ever since being here my face has broken out so badly I don't tend to wear makeup most days unless it's a long day and I need to look decent, or if I'm going to town.
