What does a perfect day look like to you?

Been lucky with my timetable and am able to leave school early every friday, to spend time with my Leo!
In the main, I have been riding him bareback and a couple weeks ago I cantered bareback (for the first time ever!) and have been doing so every week! Small achievement but something to be proud of nevertheless!
Need to get him clip and Chester! Ooh, and we are treating them to a new rug each this year!

Me and dad spent an hour hunting for Chester, little idiot had escaped into the next door field and was nowhere to be seen. I don't know how he does it, there is a proper fence he has to get through and still he has no cuts or anything. No damage to the fenceS either. I ripped my trousers on it, climbing through. He is a blood genius.

What camera do you use? Is it good? I'm looking for a camera but I'm not sure whether to go for the d3100/200 or another one 🙈
I use the Nikon D5100. It is hard to say as I have never personally compared to other cameras. I do really like it, I think it is a really good camera however I have always been curious in trying other brands such as Canon or Olympus and I do wish that I had done a more wide range search when I brought it on the other brands available. The Nikon as a brand (from what I have seen) is generally more expensive then the others for example with the different types of lenses.
But honestly, I do absolutely adore it as a camera, I just sometimes think that I could have brought a better one at a similar price. Nikons are lovely cameras and which ever one you get, you will be able to learn and work it to your wanting. It is a lot about the skill more so than the equipment. If I were you I would expand your search to other camera brands and watch video reviews on youtube or read them online. Take your time and keep an open mind (:

I bumped into the head on friday afternoon when I left (slightly) early as I had a free period and he is so nice and approachable, clearly genially cares about the well being of his students and the parents being happy as he stays by the gate on bus duty (sort of) every afternoon! Sorry, a bit of a tangent but compared to my old head (who I won't go into as I won't be able to stop) it is so lovely to see and what I feel is part of the job for head teachers to do. I'll stop myself there, otherwise I won't be able to stop (I feel very strongly in this subject, I won't say why).

I went to the wrong form thinking it was mine! I didn't find out until someone told me afterwards. All is fine now anyway. But, it was just so typical I would do something like that, haha! 😜 It went well, everyone in my form group is really nice and my form tutor (maybe me being an idiot was a good thing!). It was not as awkward as I thought it would be although I didn't know anyone but not many people knew each other, at least not well.

Good luck for tomorrow! I'm also going to a college in my area to start an A level course tomorrow and I'm soo nervous! I also don't know anybody either, I met 2 people on induction day last week but I didn't have much time to talk to anyone. I'm sure we'll be fine though! Let me know how it goes!!x
Aww, thank you! Good luck to you too! I'm so nervous. I know no one, really. I have spoken to a few people but it was a "summer school" so it was more about seeing if the subjects were right for you. Plus the induction day was in June so I don't know if the people I spoke to decided to go to this six form or not. Either way, I'm sure we won't be the only ones feeling this way. introvert, I find it hard to speak to new people, or people I have not seen in ages but I will always try to speak to them. I just never have any questions to keep the conversation going. haha!

Um, I don't really know.
Quite often I just find myself searching on youtube for songs, or I get inspired by editors.
Also I listen to a lot of music and like finding new music so I am subscribe to channels like Mahogony, OntSofa, Oak Sessions and do go on a variety of music sites such as spotify and Soundcloud. I also follow a lot of composers which post close to everyday of new tracks.
It can be hard some times, but if you like a song, try to edit to it, and if it doesn't work, try another.

Yes! Is that for the vertical scroll?
If so you use the vertical sync where the lower the number the faster the scroll is.
If you want to change to speed to make it increase or decrease you use the vertical sync and animate (in the bottom left hand corner of the video effect fx window). Animate when click will bring up a timeline which you control the same as in pan/crop. So you add a keyframe further done then either plac a lower number on the vertical sync (to have an increasing speed) or a higher number (to have a decreasing speed).

Hey, on Sony Vegas, when I add a colouring from my filter packages onto a clip it works fine but when I move the clip to the side along the track the colouring disappears? Do you know why this is? Thank you x
