Наверное тут 2 негативных аспекта:
- я более уязвим
- я менее загадочен, более предсказуем
Первое - просто, объяснять не стоит. Второе - наверное для всех по разному. Для меня искренность это синоним с полной открытостью, ничего не скрыто, ничего не приукрашено. И в этом случае, предсказуемость убивает интригу.

Both feelings are considered as negative in many cultures. However, it is obvious that our lives would be less colorful if none of fear and pain would exist. I would say that on the one side fear makes our live safer - we do not go easily in danger. On the other hand, you enjoy archivement much more if you get it going through fear.
Pain also brings you value for pleasure. If you do not know pain, probable you cannot fully experience enjoyment. I think pain also make our live safe. It prevents you from going further the way you feel pain. So, in conclusion, I would rather feel pain and do not feel fear. It would make my life more dangerous and enjoyment more valuable.
