are you usually the heartbreaker or heart broken?

i'm usually the heartbroken, but my last breakup was kinda complicated? i was heartbroken then he was heartbroken then we unofficially got back together but then it didn't work out for me because he was kind of an ass and i ended it and cut contact and he was heartbroken and just... shudders. messy.

What do you think of love?

love requires more than just love. it's amazing if both parties are ready for it, but it can be hectic if one party or both aren't. then again, no one's completely ready for love. love isn't quite meant for the light-hearted. you know, you either marry someone or you guys end up breaking up. if it's the latter, at least you matured as a person. but it's still beautiful, both the ups and the downs in their own rights.
do take note though, self-love is the most important love. and don't forget platonic and filial love. it's not all just about romance.
