What is your favourite thing to watch and why is it anime?

it provides me a much needed escape from the real world. The real world sucks at times and we know it. When I put on my headphones and tune in some anime I always feel like I am part of the animated world. The typical japanese highschool buildings, the narrow lanes and not to mention, the beautiful scenery seems all familiar to me. I feel comforted.
Characters. You develop a bond with them. You start to feel for them as if they are your friends. An hour long session of anime feels no less than a long session of hanging out with your friends.
