Would you change yourself ever just to make others happy?
Years ago, I made the decision to do the best I can to help everyone around me as much as possible, and make them happy, whether they're friends or strangers. Seeing a genuine smile in return gave me a reason to hold on to my heart beat. But unfortunately, many people kept proving me wrong in so many different ways, many have taken me for granted, drained every last bit of my emotions, but I kept going 'cause it was the last piece of thread I could hold on to.
And now? Now, I'm not sure if there's anything or anyone worth going through all of this for. It's only proven to me how awful and greedy human beings actually are, and how hypocritical and judgemental everyone is. Some would wear a fake mask and tag along to extract each and every possible outcome they can off of you, and once they're done, they don't even try to well-manage the double faced hypocritical shenanigan anymore; so brutal, audacious & shameless.
So I'm not sure if I'd take the risk of changing for them anymore.
In conclusion, we all should try to be more heartful, sincere and less insensitive.
If not, then don't shed a tear over their grave after you've lead them there.
