If you're worried that he's "the one," I'll already tell you he's not. A person who asks you to give up your dreams kasi "siya na ang bahala sa lahat" is not for you. You will resent him in the end especially since he's a seafarer and wala rin naman siya so what's the difference of you being away? If he's for you, you won't lose him. If he's not, then he'll be gone at the first moment of uncertainty, like what is happening now. LDR is not for everyone and it's fair to not continue a relationship that's going to become long-distance. But don't give up on your dreams. In the end they're the only thing you'll have that's yours. It's a big red flag when a man tells you to give up a job or career path and says he'll take care of everything. Go abroad and you'll discover and learn so many things. Choosing yourself is never wrong.
