Hello, my name is Christian and i just want to thank you first for your work, i really like your channel..Now my question, I want to educate myself more about society,politics ,economics , maybe you know a book or some source that covers most of them ? or several good books that dont bore to death?
Most of what I've learned is via listening to what other people have to say (usually via youtube) and formulating my own conceptual structure for reality based on my understanding of the fundamental principles of what they are saying. I really don't have much specific knowledge, I just argue from first principles usually, though sometimes highly abstracted.
This won't work for everyone, of course. For me, I started with learning a lot about atheism, and it's a good place to start because you learn a lot about logical fallacies and psychology by arguing with Creationists. If you want to go down that road, read The God Delusion, The Moral Landscape, and watch debates with any of the four horsemen.
Religion is easy though, it gets boring after a while.
