3-3.30 is standard timing. and as long as you can reach home before 5 in JC, that's counted as early hahaha start at 8 on Mon Wed Fri. 8.30 on tues and 9 on Thursday

its ok! (: umm why is that you guys have lots of break in between lectures in nj? is that what happens to most classes regardless of compact or not?
LOTS OF BREAK DURING SCHOOL?!?!?! my class only get 2 (and twice a week once) 30mins break throughout the entire day. so I've no idea whaat you mean by "lots of break" hahahaa the standard subj combi normally have the "standard" timetable. But those with odd combi will have random breaks throughout their day!

is competition so tight in njc? and overall what makes njc different from other JCs?(:
I haven't been to other JCs, so I can't say for sure, but this is just my personal opinion:
I don't really understand what you mean by competition, but if you talking about opportunities to excel in certain subjects/disciplines or CCA-wise, I have to say it's quite competitive, cos the quality of people in NJC is really not bad. but if you really work hard for it and actively pursue whatever you are trying to get, your chances of getting it is still the same as others. but then again I got rejected all three times when I applied for leaders in boarding (so I sense some sneaky sneaky stuff going on there) and don't be fooled by the IP programme. people may think that they are privileged and hence are getting more help from the school, but I think it's just because they've been in the school for longer so they know where to get the help from hahaha just ask anyone and more often than not they will help you willingly :) which brings me to the next point which is NJC is filled with amazing and incredibly helpful people whom I've met and have made friends with. it's a very friendly environment in NJC so yeahhh thanks for your very interesting question B-)
