"all i do is complain/cry". with all due respect, please come back to me when you've gone through exactly what i've gone through and tell me you don't cry as much.

because it IS fighting. and, no offense, but you don't know me. not like i do. and for me to ALLOW myself to cry, allow myself to hurt and actually tell myself "hey. i'm sad. but i have every damned right to be" is an incredibly powerful tool. letting myself cry, letting myself FEEL my emotions is the most important thing to me, especially when i have gone through SO much hurt just to conceal my emotions, just to act like other people matter more than i do so i shouldnt be upset.

i'm growing. and i have a lot to cry about. i'm sorry if it's annoying or offputting, but if someone's going to be annoyed or look down on me because i allow myself to feel hurt for all of the things that legitimately hurt me, then that's not someone i can trust truly cares about me.
