What's your opinion on Zombies? Have they become an overdone gimmick or can the genre still be fresh?

This reminds me of how much I hate the idea that zombies are a genre, same for superheroes. If you really think 28 Days Later and Warm Bodies are the same kind of story I don't know what to say to you. It's a limiting point of view that makes regurgitation seem required when it should be avoided. And the sad thing is how often the market rewards that perspective.

Are you just naturally a really funny guy or do you study/practice often?

If you want to be funny, consume a bunch of comedy. Podcasts, standup, performances, draw from it all. Then read. Get a wide breadth of things you know and can draw from. The funniest people are the smartest people.
Of course, this still hasn't helped me any.

In retrospect, how would you have changed the panel? (Personally I would have preferred a less broad discussion)

It's funny, because I think we were subject to the same thing I always say makes E3 conferences bad: too many audiences at once. C2E2 is a comics and pop culture event so I wanted to tailor it to the 'man on the street' sort of audience and include that LP101 primer portion at the top. I also hoped the video would get picked up and allow us to reach people who know of LP but dismiss it without really looking at it. It got tweeted by Phil Kollar and featured in one of Patrick Klepek's articles, so hopefully that happened. I also knew we would be speaking directly to our fans in the room and clamoring for video so they got plenty of attention. Subtract 20 minutes from our timeslot for the live recording and I think we did the best we could with the remainder.
In the next few days we'll have more C2E2 content coming that I think will be what you're looking for. We did interviews using all the submitted questions, some of which were interesting and discussion-provoking. We also did a recap podcast and spent time talking about issues we wish we would have had time for on the panel proper and there's some real good stuff in that conversation.

Of the more "pop-culture" Let's Players (PewDiePie, Game Grumps, etc.), who do you believe produces the best, or least-terrible, content?

I wouldn't know. There's like a million hours of LP produced per day. You've got to be choosy as hell to get anything done with your life.

You seemed very supportive of #MiiQuality. What are your thoughts on Nintendo's response?

The wrong-minded one, or the 'too little too late' one?

What's your avatar from?

I know I usually warn people away from our BG&E let's play but that doesn't mean you should avoid the game. Please play it.

How do you feel about the direction DC has been going in since the New 52 reboot?

The good creators are still making good books, but editorial really has lost their minds. Read indie and small press comics, the aforementioned good creators do those too.

Limiting it to people currently writing, and adjusting for being cool people in their lives, I'm going to say Paul Cornell. Really looking forward to The Severed Streets at the end of the month.

It's funny that you mention the next horizon for lps are MMOs, specifically FF14 as it's basically a normal FF game with multiplayer. With games like Destiny and The Division, we're seeing persistent online games that have the foundation of singleplayer but the uniqueness of having multiple people.

Or maybe I'm completely wrong.

In the Captain Planet RP video, you began to reference what sounded like an alternate history book where Columbus never came to the Americas. Do you recommend it/can you tell me the title?

I can do neither.
