It was the worst... & youtube is so inconsistent with how it handles copyright that's it's hard to truly know what will set off a strike. :(

YEAH i think from now on ill just change the songs even more than i used to. i dont know. just sucks i cant use thumbnails :(
and just youtube in general sucks like. im getting real sick of it + their constant changing of things. just gonna pray to god i dont get another one, i guess. ://

https://ask.fm/charizzaard/answers/133900006777 hmm. I always just use the original song & bite the bullet on the third party content claim. (sometimes it's blocked in certain countries). The only music-related strike I've ever gotten was when I pitch shifted the song to try to get past the claim.

I get third party claims as well on some songs when i pitch them, but yeah. idk what happened with this one?? honestly, ive never gotten a strike until now, that's why im like freaking out.
but tbh im like way too scared to leave the original songs on it :S

I've noticed that youtube often gives out strikes if you alter the music (to get around matched third party content.) It's very strange, but that may be what happened. :(

but that doesn't make any sense if they would do that but not do it for using the original version, no? or do i just have to pitch waaay more than i already do? honestly lol idek what to do at this point.

What will my next video be? - I have absolutely no idea.. I'm sorry, I just have like so many projects that I'm working on and so many things I need to finish, but I'm having the hardest time focusing on anything at the moment, so I don't know :/ Yeah, I'm working on a Bonkai video, which I will hopefullly upload this week, cuz it's way overdue.
Then I obviously have to upload the giveaway on the 24th, and then a video on the 25th AAAAND there's also my TYS entry which is due by the 27th?
AAAAND along with all that, I have like 5 collab parts to make + I have collabs with soo many people in the making right now.. And collabs on Magnificunts. Ugh.
Soooo for this month, I am definitely gonna chill with starting new things because I literally don't even have time for these...
As I said, I do want to organize another collab on my channel, but that's gonna have to wait a while cuz I have too many things going on at once. And as for a contest, I'm still not even halfway through with Focus xD But maybe sometime next year, in the summer or something. Will see, though!

QUESTION im making a yt video and i made the pitch of the audio im using just alittle higher. But it kinda sounds like the original song. My problem is, it sounds perfect, but i dont want yt to block the video bc of copyright issues even though i changed the audio alittle. what should i do?

i just got a copyright strike a couple days ago even though i pitched that song by 2 AND added reverb and smoothened it. so yeah. CHANGE IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN I DON'T WANT ANYONE GOING THROUGH THIS TORTURE THAT I HAVE TO ENDURE FOR THE NEXT 6 MONTHS OF NOT BEING ABLE TO USE THUMBNAILS :(((((((((((((((

ACTUALLY I want to lol, but I just haven't found the right song yet. But once I do, then yeah, I probably will. I'm just taking this week to like TRY and finish up all of my collabs, collab parts and projects that are almost done. But yeah, I've been having really bad luck with songs lately, like I just can't find anything ://
