You don't have to answer this but basically a "Shit" was changed into "Crap" during the Toonami airing of My Hero Academia. (The Blu Ray version of the episode uses "shit") Maybe Funimation made some slight TV edits on their own volition.
I dunno you can say “shit” on Adult Swim but clearly either way, that’s not a big change.
I noticed some language was removed in last night's episode of My Hero Academia. Was that your guys' call or did the episode come to you that way?
We didn't edit the episode so that's how it was sent to us I guess.

I wasn’t, but I’m down with the Crunchyroll guys. Fun fact: when I first met Kun GAO (co-founder), he told me Toonami was what got him into anime, which ultimately his creation of Crunchyroll!

I use Crunchyroll, I buy a lot of stuff, and I use Funimation Now, I also have Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Not only has it been 15 years since Adult Swim originally aired FLCL. Both new and old seasons will/did premiere during the summer, just two months and two days apart! I'm on to you Mr Demarco!!

While it was airing on toonami, did you think the English dub censorship for sailor moon was a load of bull or did you not know anything about it?

I think it’s perfect as it is, and doesn’t need a remake. It was just in theaters again for the blu rat release, I went and saw it!

What do you think of all these anime getting live action films nowadays?
I think it’s generally a bad idea. I’m sure there will one day be a well made live action adaptation of an anime, but there may be a long wait.
