What are the music artists or bands you can't stand? Either current or old
There are very few, really. There's so much great music out there I'm excited about, I don't spend much time hating stuff. Kinda tired of Pharrell right now, and never liked Robin Thicke, that's two for you.
What are your favorite Metal bands and albums?
SHEESH this is a big one. My favorite metal band is Slayer and has been for a long time. Other metal bands I like a lot: Iron Maiden, Blut Aus Nord, High on Fire, Sleep, Torche, Pig Destroyer, Skeletonwitch, Jesu, Immortal, Cannibal Corpse, Mastodon, Earth, a whoooole lot of thrash bands, and yes- Deafheaven.
Any favorite illustrators?
Many. A few I like: Bill Sienkiewicz, Kent Williams, Dave McKean, Alex Ross, Frank Frazetta, Syd Mead, Doug Chiang, Sergio Aragones, JJ Villard, Richard Corben, Yoji Shinkawa, Yoshitaka Amano.
What is a great place to ask a girl on a first date?
I think that's kind of up to you and the girl. Somewhere you can have a great conversation. I think dinner is always a great place to start, and after that, it's more about what cool/fun stuff there is to do in your area. Good luck.

This might be kind of a weird question, but I've just been making this observation. Do you lean more towards harder-hitting music such as Killer Mike or Gucci Mane, as apposed to softer artists like Haim or Grizzly Bear. And just a note, I like all the artists listed, I'm not dissing them

Since you have a big media library, have you ever considered taking the "One Year Watch It All" challenge? You start on Jan. 1 and have all year to watch everything in your movie/TV library, including new purchases. I tried it once but I own too much stuff to actually pull it off with my schedule.
Oh if I didn't have a job or a child or wife I MIGHT try something that insane, but no. Closest I have come is last October when I watched a horror movie a day for the whole month. That was hard enough!

Well, I would be honest. Don't expect her to agree, and if you're really her friend, you have to accept her either way. But tell her how you feel.
