Why is CNN international so much better than the domestic version?? :-/

I love CNNi as well. I'm not sure one is better than the other... they just focus on different stories. Like you, I'm a fan of global news which is why you prob prefer it. Thanks for watching!

That's an awesome question! Wish I had a good answer. I think I'd hold that repeat day card for down the road. :)

dinner on a nice patio somewhere and amazing convo where you talk and laugh for hours.

that's a really interesting question. i find myself often explaining that despite Washington not liking each other, most Americans just want our congress to have our best interest in mind and get along.

What's your Halloween costume!?

I'm not dressing up. I'm not that into Halloween. Is that weird?! Never really have been - even as a kid!

Do you watch the newsroom? Any thoughts?

Yes! Love Newsroom. Some episodes aren't realistic to a real "newsroom" but it's still entertaining. And I love Jane Fonda. I recently met her and the finale of newsroom came up in conversation and I was a total dork and told her that I wouldn't have let Will or Mac resign either. #doh! haha

Do you follow Dr. Gupta's recommendations regarding safe cell phone use to minimize your exposure to cell phone radiation?

yes! I've spent years investigating the safety of cell phone radiation and have reported extensively on it. Two things I never do: 1) talk with the cell phone against my head (I use wired ear piece or talk on speakerphone). And 2) carry my phone in my pants pocket. And for the record... that isn't just dr g's recommendation. the safety manual for cell phones actually tell consumers not to do these things.

What's the first thing that runs through your mind when you wake up in the morning?

first, I take a moment to be thankful for another day. then, I grab my phone(s) and see what news I missed while I was getting my beauty sleep.

Have you ever assisted Dr. Sanjay Gupta in brain surgery?

Ha! Nope. Not qualified for that. But I have been in his OR and watched him do brain surgery a couple times. He plays super cool music while operating... like red hot chili peppers! #truestory
