what are some of your favourite cafés in Syd and what's your usual order?

Well you can do my usual Bondi routine it's pretty great, 'Lox Stock and Barrel' for an Albacore Tuna Sandwich and Baked avocado on Sourdough (seriously best combo/lunch ever). Then walk down the road to 'Gertrude and Alice' and sit down with a friend/book for their amaze chai latte - Tash x

do you know of any places to get simple black pumps?

Walk into a westfield and browse. I got a nice pair from Peep-toe - Tash x

will you be adding anything else to the imported from the usa vintage collection on elletassy?

Not at the moment! Hopefully in the near future as we like to handpick our items so it would be best if we were over there again - L x

what time do you usually wake up?

I'll usually wake up anytime from 7-9 on an office day and 8-11am usually on a weekend/lazy day although there are times where I can sleep past midday! - L x

how much sleep do you typically get?

It really ranges on what kind of day it is. If we have a deadline, then we can might only get a few hours (the day before our NYC campaign we probably only got 4-5 hours sleep) but usually at least 7-8! I can't really function properly without a good nights sleep! - L x

Hello! May I know what camera do you both used for your USA trip? :)

My Canon 5D Mark II was the camera used for the photos you see on the blog. Our instagram pics were done by iPhones and Tash brought her Nikon camera but never used it, ha! - L

would you ever consider taking on work experience people to help with the store? :)

We are actually taking on a small amount of work experience girls this year! We never thought we would this early on but hopefully it will be fun! - L

Lucia and Tash, how supportive were your parents in your decision to defer from university? The pursuits you've both made are really admirable and your U.S travel is a dream for me!

We're glad we inspired you! Our parents are as supportive as it gets, they've been invested a lot in us and has been incredibly helpful - from advice, to helping us move our stock, managing orders while we were overseas etc! - L

Lucia what camera mode do you use the most often

I use my 5D Mark II on manual and adjust everything accordingly with available light and what I need to capture! - L

What breed are your dog? (To both of you)

Blaze is a Pomeranian and Chicago is a white German Shepherd or White Swiss Shepherd (whatever people like to call it) - L

What happened to Leo? Did he ever come back?

No he didn't :( We also moved houses so it would have been tricky for him to come back. He was too stranger-friendly! - L

whats your favourite savoury food/sweet food//makeup brand? x x

Tash: sweet - blueberry cheesecake, savoury - Jap food, makeup - Benefit/Lancôme, and for me it would be any sort of candy/icecream for sweets, pretzels for savoury and I like different products from different brands and but mostly MAC and Maybelline! - L

Lucia, did you adopt all your pets? If so how and where?

Hi! My cat Million was adopted, she was originally from Sydney Cats and Dogs Home but was fostered in Sutherland until I found her and picked her up. Chicago is from a breeder we found near Dubbo (long drive but worth it). I strongly suggest adopting a cat simply because there are alot out there that needs homes,you can easily find a kitten if you want to raise them from younger and they come all vaccinated, vet-checked and etc. Try looking on petrescue.com.au (if you fell in love with an interstate pet, you can inquire to see if you can get it flown to your nearest airport!) - L

any study advice? i find it hard to get good marks even in year 11 >< thanks

Don't leave things til last minute! Revising everyday when you come home literally for 5 minutes will make a difference in the long run, make realistic to-do lists (finishing a list will give a great accomplishing feeling and will then add a positive vibe to studying) and get rid of distractions (don't study with friends if you study better yourself, computer etc) and find what study routine/strategy works for you! Basically tricking your mind into thinking studying is fun and easy (hard to do, but will help mentally)! - L

when you guys were in yr 12, did you start studying straight away for the hsc and consistently? my hsc is about a month and its so difficult for me to study..all i do is eat, procrastinate and sleep

I don't know about Tash but I definitely did not study all throughout the year, only til it was probably too late to and rather considered cramming haha. But definitely don't learn from my all-nighters and red bull overloads, make realistic lists and do them one by one and reward yourself after they're done. It definitely takes alooooot of self motivation and effort to do something you don't want to but it will be worth it next year when it's all done and dusted! - L
