1. Prom Night - Anamanaguchi ft. Bianca Raquel (Lindsay Lowend Remix)
This tune is such an ulzzang because CUTE. GWIYEOWO. PRETTY. YEPPEUN. Musically, and visually! Just look at its album cover (it's on soundcloud), gee, I feel like playing video game. Simply said, this is a must listen. For a very brief millisecond you'll feel like, “this music is too 'easy' to be something worth listening”, but all of the sudden after that... BAM. What's coming next from it will totally slap you out.

2. Drunk In Luv - Jeni (Beyoncé Refix)
This is ethereal. I can totally imagine this being a background music of melodramatic scene in a movie. Sittin', kitchen, drizzles, sipping coffee, alone.
I love how Jeni Suk succeed to transform the song into something worth calling 'the polar opposite', atmospherically and musically. With all that's been said, I really admire this song.

4. Something - Snarky Puppy ft. Lalah Hathaway
Although I'm pretty late about Snarky Puppy because I've been hearing stories about them since more than half a year ago... but most of all, have you ever heard of something about two melodies or more played simultaneously which IS CHORDS..... but using a human's voice?
I'm quite unsure to say the 'using human's voice' part aloud, though; I don't think Lalah Hathaway is even human.

my first 'debut' to the k-pop world is through b1a4. i love their music, i've been following them since 'baby, goodnight' era and i was a cnu stan, but currently i just stan everybody (maybe especially baro and jinyoung).
exo's been the nth k-pop group i've discovered since my first idol group ever, b1a4. i particularly liked some of super junior's songs alongside infinite, miss a, f(x), & girls' generation's. and i'm still lovestruck with 2ne1's aon album. it's enormously rad!

you need to fix these:
1. articulation
you tend to murmur down the lyrics, try to open up more for a clearer pronunciation.
2. breathing technique
you tend to 'vanish' by the end of the phrase. just don't push your diaphragm too hard. relax, no pressure.
you know, this actually correlates with dynamics. when you have a good breathing technique, this kind of problem would be an easy thing to avoid. but, you know what? singing is simply just speaking with artifical tone. so, just be comfortable with yourself. that'd totally do the trick.
anyways, I've got one tip for you: do not hold your breath when you sing. it'd waste out your breath quicker, and it's also not the right technique to do.
dredbyun, actually your breathing technique is almost fine, you only need to work a little bit on that and your voice'd totally turn out great.
but, aside of those. you have a noticeably good pitch control and also nice head voice technique. it was a very pleasing cover to listen to. over all, you've done a good job. well done, dear!:-)

1. microphone: oh hell please, obviously. but, since aku masih amatiran dek, aku slama ini cuma pake hpku aja buat recording. It's iPhone 4s. Tell you what, Apple products are born qualified very-amateur recording tools. And speaking of clarity... (#bgm #nowplaying zedd - clarity) itu tergantung environment aja.
Jangan recording pas lagi ada arisan mama kamu dirumah yah. And, kalau kamu tinggal di pusat kota, tinggal di pinggiran kota juga merupakan option yang sangat bagus.
Kamu beli rumah lagi aja di pinggiran kota khusus buat rekaman cover doang.
2. pop filter: well if you don't know what it is, damn right you're here! pop filter adalah salah satu equipment yang essential in professional recording world. and if you're wondering how it works, try this. record diri kamu sendiri saying 'pop', trus dengerin. kayak ada suara angin ngerusuh gitu kan? and also, yah itu, suara 'meleduk' itu sendiri.
and alongside all those stuffs, therefore they just explained to you what pop filter exists for.
anyways, gue sendiri ga make professional pop filter. harganya (or at least perkiraan harga yang ada di pikiran gue) bikin males. dan kalau seandainya ga terlalu bikin males juga gue tetep aja males belinya. masa pop filternya mahal recordernya iPhone 4s? kan cute banget???
and that, is one of the reason of my newly invented pop filter yang baru" ini gue gunakan di cover terbaru gue (sst dengerin juga ya sekalian, featuring the it-coverist girl, @DORKyungsoo, http://soundcloud.com/kezs/whenyoubelieve promosi dikitla heuheuy) believe me, pop filter bikinan gue ini; 1. sangat ekonomis, 2. sangat praktis, dan 3. oh, so, so goddamn effective.
