Yes, but there are two main restrictions: 1) Freshmen can't choose their roommates 2) International students cannot choose a roommate from their home countries

Ahh my brother is going into 12th grade as well :) I honestly think that I'm more excited to see all of my friends rather than actually attending class and such (both pro and con of boarding school), but aww don't worry too much about university! High-schoolers act like college is the most important thing in the universe, but it's really only the first baby step of making it into the adult world.
