Well, he stays in the same house as his mother, but they don't interact very much so it's pretty much the equivalent to living on his own.

When she was younger, she used to have longer, flowing hair. However because in korea, cutting hair is sometimes a sign of loss or heartbreak, she cut it shorter after her father left.
