What Loki did was terrible and he couldn't live with that, just thinking about it killed him from the inside. If he changed it was because of her, a long time ago. "Alright Natasha, I'm going." He said and wanted to salute her somehow, hug her, kiss her, but it was better if he avoided that.
"Do you dare to teleport your ass anywhere", Steve hissed and grabbed his shield tighter. His eyes roamed back to Natasha. "I still don't think I understand what's happening here."

Natasha, still holding the paper, slowly raised her hands to calm Steve down. "Steve, Agent is alive. Things changed, Loki /won't/ hurt you," she said, speaking clearly. "I'm here, awake , otherwise my eyes would be blue, but they aren't, " she said and pointed at her eyes, her gaze fixed on him.
"You're talking, Natasha, but all I hear is nonsense! Coulson is dead, he's been for months, and I don't know what he promised you. I'm not a telepath. But in a way he is... and it doesnt matter if he hurts me or not. He declared war on earth, he killed more people than I have saved.... Which is a lot."

Loki had an amused look, so he gave the paper to Natasha. "You left it in my office, it should be the report of the mission in Russia." He said so he looked back at Steve, laying a hand on her back. "I thought he knew about Coulson." He said and sighed, after Steve reminded him everything.
"I know what you did to Coulson, Loki, I was on the helicarrier at that time." Steve still looked very tense. "I'm only saying this once, Natasha. Step back."
