I would honestly recommend not to stay in Vancouver, it is so expensive. However, I would say a hotel, would be your best bet, just not anywhere in the downtown area.

My thoughts are that, they are amazing, caring, forgiving and loving. That they think more highly of me, then I think of myself. They show they truly care for and want to help me even when I have shown I am a complete idiot. I appreciate having someone like that in my life because except for my mom, I have never had someone like that before. I am very grateful for having a person like that in my life.
