There has come a time now when so called Muslim families don't care if their sons are taking their girlfriends out on dates or likewise their daughters hanging out with boyfriends. Astagfirullah. As a Muslim, one can say undoubtedly that this is not Islam. This is not what Allah allowed. That's why it's said that feminism and liberalism are anti Islam agendas. Either be a Muslim or leave Islam. It has nothing to do with perfection or imperfection, it is all about intentions. It's best not to mix up in such trends and with such norms.
