I usually blame traffic, which is more often than not true -- But I know it's really me who didn't anticipate the amount of traffic... I leave with little to no margin for error, and feign surprise when traffic slows me just enough to be late to things...

Usually just leaving 5-10 minutes earlier would solve 50% or more of the headaches being late has caused... Although, If there is no traffic and I arrive early, I'm secretly thinking that I should have left later... There is no optimal win condition, except for the instances when I arrive exactly when I'm suppose to be -- But those are uncommon occurrences...

I don't really use excuses very often. Most of the time if it's true it's true 🤷‍♀️ like if there was traffic, if something happened with my dog that I couldn't leave as soon as I wanted to, stuff like that. I don't really remember hearing any bad excuses either. I guess I don't go a lot of places where people need to have an excuse for being late 😅

I try not to be late. The only time that generally happens is because of traffic, b/c no one in AZ knows how to bloody drive...Dumbest - Overslept & couldn't leave the house until makeup was done. (I understand a lot of women want to have makeup on to leave the house...but it's not the best reasoning for being late.)
