Cessationist go to 1 Cor. 13:10 as a basis for their argument against continuationism. How do you interpret this verse?
The perfect = second coming of Christ.Any theologian that says otherwise is bias towards their theology instead of their Bible (at least with this issue). Even hardcore cessationists agree on this point.
What is your view on people who have dreams that come true from a continuationist perspective? Not talking about the fraud on tv but christians who have this happen regularly but don't seek it, or boast about it or even want it.
Looking at Acts 2 and at. Lesser extent, personal experience, I believe this happens and is of God. However, I believe it is not to be sought especially since there is no gift of dreams. But God does give them, many times to confirm His sovereign plan that will be fulfilled through much suffering. Like Joseph. However and ultimately scripture is enough and understand of that, not dreams, is what we should seek (Prov 2-3)

Some one is asking me about if women can be pastors. I've given them the 1Tim 2:8-12 and said I don't think it's biblical. What else can I say to make this clear?
For Jesus to come back. But I'm premill, so that ain't happening. Lol
An Arminian used the Parable of the Prodigal Son to argue for free will. "The Prodigal chose to leave the father, chose to repent & come back to the father." How do you answer this person?
Chose to leave his Father? Yes. That's free will and sinful condition at work.Chose to come back? No. Luke 15:17 says "and when he came to himself..." Something happened to him that made him see how foolish and sinful he was and desire to go back to his Father. And that's grace. It opens our eyes to our true condition and to the true solution and causes us to run home.
Maybe an idea for your next podcast. What is your view on women pastors? I personally don't agree with them as pastors, but can accept women preaching.
Ooo....I can add that question to tomorrow's podcast. Want to leave me a voicemail about it? It would be a big help. Call 727-228-2278Thanks!
