Based on VidCon, I think June and Greg are people I could probably do something not YouTube related with and not feel out of place. Vernaculis was really chill too. Blaire was fun too. Idk, we never really got much time to just chill at VidCon so it’s not easy to tell.

What’s the difference between you guys criticizing YouTube for demonetizing your content and small creators upset with the new change? Seems hypocritical
The difference is contextual. The problem isn’t that they demonetize our content. The problem is that often times content that checks all the boxes for being advertiser friendly are demonetized and vice versa. It’s so wildly inconsistent that there’s no real way to strategize for it. It’s incoherent.
I’ve always said I’d be fine if I get demonetized if I have NAZI in the title or something. I disagree with it, but I get it. It’s their rules. The new changes are just new rules. Are they unfair? Sure. But at least they’re not lying to you this time. I’d rather have a dumb set of rules that’s consistent than have a dumb set of rules that has no rhyme or reason to it.
I’d get demonetized for talking about a tragedy but Jimmy Kimmel gets to talk about it? What the fuck? That’s retarded. These new changes could possibly be great because they allow for a more stable business for those who do reach the criteria (criteria that applies to everyone and not just some people like before)
