How do you feel about female comedians?

I dunno. I can't even really name many comedians I enjoy regardless of gender. Aziz Ansari, George Carlin, Seinfeld, Bill Burr are the few that come to mind. Jimmy Carr as well. I dunno many women comedians. That said, I'm also not big on comedy. Female musicians? That I know a thing about.

Would you become a professional musician if given the opportunity?

I've actually been speaking to a few people about starting a band. Met a drummer and a bassist recently. I would love to pursue a career in music, but I think I've still got a ways to go. I not a great guitar player, I'm not exactly the best vocalist and I've got a lot of work to do as far as lyric writing goes.
It's something I've always wanted to do, but to be frank, I'm not all that sure I can pull it off.
If given the opportunity? Most definitely.

How would you feel if Tim Mcilrath went and recorded a solo album containing the songs he performed on the revival tour with Chuck Ragan such as, "Them's Fightin' Words (Acoustic, from The Killing Tree), Restless World, It's Late, What Are We Gonna Do?, Etc,?

I would welcome it. The guy's an immensely talented lyricist. I'd argue one of the best around today. It'd be strange to not hear the other guys, specifically the trademark bubbly bass from Joe, but I'd totally buy it.

No problem! To jog your memory, It was a couple of days ago, a song called "Belief". It was on a youtube link through a question on here, three days ago now that I look. Hope this helps. If you are being sarcastic, and remarking the song was something forgettable, well played sir. Well played.

No sarcasm. I remember now. I get a lot of links so it's hard to remember sometimes. Sure, send away.

Im the person who sent you the youtube link to a song, I habe a few more I wanna get your opnion on, because I find your perspective as a creator of music for the pure fun of it really interesting! I just wanna make sure you dont find it qnnoying

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm not sure I remember what this refers to. Care to jog my memory?

anything you recommend on Netflix besides Kill-la-kill, falling skies, daredevil, V for vendeta, DC flashpoint, and full metal alchamist

Andrija Jovanovic
Outside of the obvious Breaking Bad? I dunno. I loved Cosmos, but I have strange tastes.

What's your wardrobe like?

Tee shirts, collared shirts, jeans, corduroy pants, slacks, and sweatshirts (NEVER SWEATERS.)

Do you consider yourself to be an attractive man?

Sometimes. Somedays it's like, "Wow, I'm a mess" but every once in a while I'll look in the mirror and not move for a few minutes. Not necessarily because I think I look fantastic but sometimes everything just falls into place. The right clothes, minimal blemishes, hair exactly how ya want it and you're like, "This is how it always should be."
The answer to your question is: "Somewhat. Sometimes."

What are stereotypically male things that you (as a male) are supposed to like, but don't?

Cars and sports. Cars are buckets that take you places and sports is just two teams of over-paid idiots throwing projectiles around until one team does an arbitrary thing more often than the other. I see no value in it.

What is your opinion on transgenderism? Do you think gender-fluidity is a legitimate thing?

My opinion on transgenderism? It's whatever. Not my business, though if I had to suggest, I'd recommend waiting until the kid is over 18 before going through with any surgery that life changing. Kids often don't know what they want and personally I don't think the decision to change genders should be made by 8 year old children. Other than that? Do whatever, it doesn't affect me.
Gender fluidity is a different thing, I suppose. Scientifically speaking, it does make a decent amount of sense. Some men might have higher estrogen levels than others which might make them exhibit more typically female traits. I actually have a medical condition that effects these hormone levels and I can somewhat relate to the idea that somedays you don't quite identify entirely with the general archetypes of your natural gender, but I don't think it means that you feel like the opposite gender.
Ultimately, I think people's hormones fluctuate and since we attribute certain behaviors to certain genders, these fluctuations could be interpreted as feeling not like your gender. All that considered, it's really just how nature works. It's a real thing, yes, but it's not quite as dramatic or important as it's made out to be.

What is the craziest shit that you have seen on Tumblr?

I avoid Tumblr. Though, based on Jim's videos, Headmates is the craziest.

Do you have any guilty pleasures?

No, I don't feel guilty about things I like. Who has the time for that?

Do you read Nietzsche? If so, which book is your favourite?

I've tried. Can't say I've ever made it far enough to finish any of them.

What's your opinion on the latest hunt the truth?

It just keeps getting better. I love radio dramas like this.

Do you ever find yourself missing Christopher Hitchens? I keep thinking that this election would be far more interesting if he was around.

I don't necessarily "miss" him. Though I do sometimes wish he was around to react to a lot of the bullshit going on. Same with George Carlin.

Do you believe that the government would turn out better if it was necessary to pass a test measuring political knowledge (and/or intelligence) in order to vote?

Honestly, I think it's more important to have scientifically minded people rather than politically minded people. Scientifically minded people only care about results, data, and what's true and what's not. Politically minded people are divisive, corrupted by the very nature of the environment they inhabit.
If you can't be objective, you have no place in an effective political system. So, yes a test, but one that doesn't rely on ideologies or anything political other than how the process works. Ideologies left at the bedside.

Do you believe that the current system of voting is adequate? From what little I have heard of the electoral college, it sounds shitty.

No. It's pathetically broken.
