What should the purposes or goals of the criminal legal system be, and in what order of precedence?
Garrett, that is too sophisticated for me to even attempt to answer! :o)
Why?
Stuttgart and Oklahoma City are both stable cities with plenty of available land to facilitate expansion, should either serve as capital of the world. Neither is a major port, which is unfortunate, but that makes them more affordable and more likely to accommodate growth. The USA and Germany are the most civilized, wealthiest, safest countries in the world, so it makes sense that a stable, prosperous but not overly glamorous city in the heartland of either country be chosen.
If you had to pick, what city would you choose to be the Capital of the World?
Stuttgart or Oklahoma City
Are you married or do you have a boyfriend?
I am a widow. My husband passed away after we were married for only a few years. He was young. I mourned for a long time. I am not married, nor do I have a boyfriend. Thank you for caring enough to ask!
What personality type are you out of the 16 personalities?
I am the personality of NRx and their totem animals: INTJ.
What do you think of the ethical character of the suggestion that human beings use genetic engineering and manipulation to "resurrect" extinct species, particularly those in whose demise we played a crucial role?
I am not convinced that we can accomplish something that ambitious without making some bad mistakes. No, I'm not thinking of a Jurassic Park scenario! Their problem was that they resurrected extinct species all too well, without anticipating the damage that such creatures could cause in a modern ecosystem. I am reasonably comfortable with the idea that Dolly the Sheep type cloning can be accomplished without unanticipated problems. I just don't think that resurrecting extinct species is as easy, and question whether it makes sense to do so. A lot of creatures became extinct due to humans and due to natural events (long before humans even existed). Other organisms evolved to replace them. Why do we need to change the traditional paradigm of evolution? I wouldn't, unless there were a compelling reason in an isolated special case.
I am at the intersection of Bernie Sanders I-VT and Jeff Sessions R-AL, where the extreme left and extreme right in American politics overlap. Democracy doesn't seem to be working, but I don't want a monarchy either. I am opposed to illegal immigration, bank bailouts (TARP) and progressive liberal platitudes. I distrust globalists and multiculturalism. I think worker's unions are generally good and important to the American economy but feel despair at how corrupt union leadership has become. I am positively disposed toward religious faith, family and buying locally or at least Made in USA. I find gender politics distasteful and the only sort of feminists with whom I am comfortable (and who are comfortable with me) are TERFs. I think green/ sustainable energy is mostly a crony capitalism scam and that the future is in nuclear power. I want to trust the political establishment of either party in America but find it difficult to do so, due to fiscal profligacy and corruption.
