do many people come into sota after sec4 like after their o lvls? would it be very hard to get in and to cope after uve been in a mainstream school?

Not that many! maybe like 3people HAHAHA, And in terms of coping in year 5 and 6, that i cant tell you bc im only year 4 but i can assure you it is not easy. Honestly it all boils down to your time management! but it will be very tough to cope for everyone so you will not be alone.

Yes it is okay, Your PSLE score doesnt matter (as long as you get into express) but if you couldnt cope with PSLE it would be hard to cope in SOTA bc every year it just gets worse and worse and you have to juggle like 7subjects + artform. Ultimately you will take IB and it will be like 100x worse than PSLE so like ya HAHA you can guage from there. As long as you study hard and try your best your score should not and will not define you! So dont worry too much about ur PSLE score and just audition!

Yes our academics classes are all mixed artforms!:) We only split up during artform time

Not usually the case! As ive mentioned it depends on your determination to do well and how well you manage your time!:) You can do extremely well for psle but if you dont put in the effort in SOTA you wont do well eitherways and viceversa

240, but there are people who score 188 and people who score 270+ in sota!! it really doesnt matter!

Yes they dropped out or retained bc cannot cope (those that i know, which is only like a handful of people) You can easily retain or drop out no matter what PSLE score you get. Your PSLE score does not matter once you get here tbh, it all boils down to your determination and time management!

Were you all set on going to SOTA once you got in, or were you also considering going to a mainstream school?

I was set on SOTA but i also had backup plans incase i didnt get in HAHA

Would you advise someone to go mainstream or SOTA if they had the option of going to both?
