Yes, I appreciate most forms of art. I think putting so much time and effort into the process of making something, especially if it represents something special and meaningful to the artist, is very beautiful in itself.
Absolutely. I'd like to witness how the world progresses over hundreds of years and how it all ends.
'Gleamed: Adding the Sparkle to Illustration'. It was the title of an article regarding my illustrations posted at the MaMoMi Initiative website, and I thought it was so lovely!
When I won the Gillian Lawrence Award at the Pride of Henshaws Ball 2015!
My absolute favourites will always be Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel; those were my introductions to fandom! I also enjoy Doctor Who, Sherlock, Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey.
The only problems I ever had orientated around the difficulty my severe visual impairment caused. It made P.E burdensome, especially since everything we did was so visual (football, hockey, netball, rounders) and wasn't adapted to my needs, as well as teachers constantly using the blackboard and whiteboard without providing the notes to me. Sighted friends would have to read it out to me instead.
Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry!
I try to have no regrets. Everything in the past happened for a reason and makes me who I am today.
I do! I'm obsessed with accessorising and colour co-ordinating my outfits. As the jewellery I choose is so tactile - incorporating beads, sequins and feathers - I find it easy to distinguish each piece, as someone with a severe visual impairment.
It's a bit of a guilty pleasure, but Maroon 5 - Maps!
Hi there! :)
