A beautiful thing happened today. Palestinians were standing together, praying for the people of Paris. In the midst of all their turmoil, they stood shoulder to shoulder and bowed their heads, praying their non muslim brothers and sisters of Paris find peace. A beautiful thing. Since the attacks, I've seen alot of posts pointing out the fact that when the people of: Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Burma, Pakistan and so on are killed, no one pays attention to them, which sadly is true. Yet by pointing out these facts what do we do? We show the world that we lack empathy. We show the world that we are just like those whom turn a blind eye to the slaughter of Muslims around the world. We show that we are no better than them. Yet the Palestinian people, the most persecuted people in world, they woke up, did wudu and stood together and prayed, they prayed not for themselves, they prayed for others. They showed empathy, they showed love, they showed patience and above all they showed faith. I pray that we can all follow their example. Go out today and show that same love to someone less fortunate. Follow their example. Much love to you all. #prayforparis #prayformuslims #prayforhumanity
