There’s real gold diggers then there’s regular girls that understandably want someone who’s financially stable enough to support their lifestyle and can provide a sense of stability in a regularly unstable economy. Makes a whole lot of sense for a woman to marry someone who can’t keep a stable job then feel comfortable taking maternal leave while having a child. Raising a child, paying for insurance, paying rent, etc costs OD. Calling someone a gold digger because they care about how much their partner makes is kinda stupid IMO. Unless they’re constantly telling u to buy them shit and the only thing they care about is having expensive stuff then that ain’t a gold digger to me

How do I get over not being attractive?
Work on what you can work on and stop seeing yourself negatively. Confidence and personality matter a lot and are things you can develop. If you constantly have the mindset that you’re “unattractive” or not good enough, you’ll start to project that mindset and that will hold you back way more than anything else can.

Depends on the person tbh but most people probably not; that would probably make them even less interested. Maybe ur doing too much, maybe ur doing too little, maybe they ain’t interested in the first place, maybe you’re both interested but the other person wants u to do all the chasing. Who knows

What’s something you learned over the years?
I’ve noticed over the years that intention is really important in maintaining a relationship whether that’s a friendship, family, or a significant other. I’ve lost a lot of good friends over the years because neither of us made a conscious effort to keep in touch. I try alot harder now to scope what people want/expect from me in my relationship with them. If someone makes an effort to talk to me; I’ll do the same. If someone doesn’t make that effort when I am, it’s a sign I should pull back. I realized it’s really childish to expect one person to maintain a relationship and I don’t expect anyone in the future to have to carry the relationship; it sets a precedence that one person is more important than the other. I think chasing/ being super involved in something is important, but only if both parties show that they have interest in it
