Do you know why Cinco de Mayo is celebrated?

Yes, of course. Although most people, especially in the USA, think it's Mexico's
Independence Day, this couldn't be further from the truth. It's celebrated in Mexico as a battle of Puebla where the Mexican Army defeated the French who attempted to "colonize" Mexico. California started the trend to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Needless to point out, it became another day to celebrate and get drunk.
As they say: ¡Viva México, cabrones!...????
