How do you feel about edu video games for children that focus on controversial topics? Like 'History 2: Slave Trade' (it's a real game) https://goo.gl/kE2WrP It's a game to teach kids about what it was like to be involved in the trans-Atlantic slave trade. IYO, is this helpful or appropriate?
I don't think so, most kids that play that game are taking it as just that, a game They aren't realizing the importance of such an event and it's completely inappropriate to have it as a game
Today, I heard a guy say that there will never be a female chess champion because "chess is a game of aggression, and women aren't aggressive". Do you agree that women are not aggressive? BQ: Is chess a good method of testing a person's aggression?
Does he mean mental aggression? Because I can't see why you have to be physically aggressive to be a chess champion
scenario: a young extended family member is in the hospital for viral meningitis (not as dangerous as bacterial). family asks you to take his brother, who is potentially infected, home with you for now. your partner has a weakened immune system. do you help out your family or does it seem too risky?
Ah yes I heard about this I'd have to say yes, because these two women made a specific request which should've been followed through since they payed for it I'm glad that, even though the child is mixed, they are still raising them with love and are not being neglectful or blaming the child for the mix up
What are your thoughts on the current refugee situation? Should European countries take in more refugees? Would you like to see countries outside of Europe get involved? Or should the refugees have found the nearest safe country and stayed there?
I feel like people should be more understanding of their situation, I can guarantee those people didn't want to leave their home behind due to war and then get treated like dirt about it, I just saw a video of people who are complaining that the refugees are ruining their vacations. It's only natural that they went to the nearest safe country, they were desperate but more countries should definitely get involved and help
