hey ryan, i live in shanghai and i'm moving to a brand new high school in the united states, just like u did last year. what's your best advice to give me to succeed without knowing anyone at first?
hey! I wish I could sit here and tell you everything is going to be easy. Going to a brand new school is going to be extremely tough no matter what grade you're going into. My best advice to you is to join clubs/sports teams that interest you most. When you have classes, recognize the people and sort out the cliques. Start talking to those people who you think you'd fit in best, and don't be afraid to go out of your comfort zone. It took me about 3 months to get comfortable at my school. I wish you the best of luck! If you know me know me, message me somewhere and I'd be glad to share with you my personal experiences, etc.
What's something every teen should know?
"if you shake it more than twice, you're playin' with it."
i had a rugby game before prom. i got knocked out and blacked out on the field. i went to the hospital to get checked on and i didn't get out in time really nor was i feeling even close to being able to go. I wasted 350$ LOL
