What is Love?

ilovcandii’s Profile Photo☾Lє Kαяıиe⠀ ⠀ ⠀♥ ⠀⠀♥ ⠀⠀♥ ⠀⠀♥
Love is weird, and sometimes unexpected and inconvenient. You can't control it. No matter how much you try to make it go away and disappear, it comes back to haunt you. Literally eating you alive as it takes over your mind, soul, and body. It's almost like the wind, it comes out of nowhere and carries you wherever it pleases.
It makes you want to die.
But that's only one side of it -- love is also a wonderful thing. It binds families, friends, couples, and even strangers together. Love is that warm feeling in your chest.. knowing that you're safe and secure whenever you're with them, and that you'd rather be there, with them, at that moment, than anything else. It's patient, kind, humble, content, respectful, caring, temperate, and forgiving. Graceful and oh so very complex, yet simple v(⌒o⌒)v♪

Q#2: On your days off, what do you generally prefer doing? Would you rather spend the day getting various errands and chores done, or do you prefer doing nothing at all (i.e. watching TV, browsing the internet, etc.)?

It depends!!
Today was pretty lazy, so after service, I drew out a new bucket list and am about to stick it on my wall :^)
I like being busy and having things to so, but not too busy. I easily become overwhelmed. n_n
On lazy days, I prefer to stick to the usual: reading, writing, drawing, eating, watching movies, and planning.

As a girl.. how can you teach others to respect you.... i don't know i want to know because people easily uses me and left when their benefit is over....

Hiya, friend!!
(I'm assuming the "as a girl" part was directed towards you <-- I know that comment seems unnecessary, but it puts me at ease lol)
I'm sorry you're going through this. It's not fair and I know exactly how you feel. I'm sure you're an amazing person, and you don't deserve any of that.
I'm not an expert at giving advice or helping people, as much as I love to, but I can try!!
One thing I have learned over the years, is to love myself. After a long period of harboring so much self-hate, I finally decided that something had to change.
Look in the mirror everyday and give yourself some pep talk. Eat whatever you want. Watch your favorite childhood movies. Take a walk in the park, or go for a drive. Stuff like that. After a while, you'll start getting used to it and begin to feel a lot more confident in yourself. Its also perfect for eliminating toxic n negative energy from your mind and environment ~
Ik it seems like I went off topic, but I'll get to the second part!!
The reason why I said all of the above is because, well, this isn't a scientifically proven universal law -- but I think that once you start treating yourself like the queen you are, others will have no choice but to do the same.
You need to refuse to be stepped over and treated like crap. If the person genuinely cares for & about you, they will treat you the way you'd like to be :-)

How can people hear their own thoughts?

So..a week ago, a 20 year old woman was burned (alive) to death for refusing to perform an "extreme sexual act"-- by ISIS militants.
Women are kidnapped from their homes, their villages burned, they are rXped repeatedly, beaten, and sold at sex slave markets. Regardless of their age.
And here we are, in the US, where 12 year old girls are "protesting" to wear bandeaus and sports bras to school in the name of feminism.
Yikes.

Who do you think is the most overrated celebrity that doesn't deserve the fame that they have? Who do you think is the most underrated celebrity who deserve more? Why do you think those with real talent are not as popular as the one without?

I saw this and I literally screamed because why don't we ever learn about this at school? ((She is an underappreciated celebrity in my eyes))

If possible, what do you think your younger self would say to your present self?

ilovcandii’s Profile Photo☾Lє Kαяıиe⠀ ⠀ ⠀♥ ⠀⠀♥ ⠀⠀♥ ⠀⠀♥
Be brave, and the strong person you always have been. You're not alone. You're not gross, disgusting, annoying, or boring. You're talented, smart, intelligent, and every other good thing on this planet. Take care of yourself. Your body loves you, and you should love it back.

3/10: Are you friends with any of your exes? Bonus: What's your opinion on people who are/aren't? (The opposite of your answer...... if this makes any sense at all....)

cereduin’s Profile PhotoEm.
I don't think it's my place to actually have an opinion (and it'd also be a bit unfair) without knowing the dynamics of the relationship.
Getting rid of toxic people is one of the hardest things to do, and if someone i love and care about --decided to do just that, i'm most likely not going to question it. Their well-being and happiness is the most important thing to me. My job is to support them in every way possible. I know of a couple of people who are actually terrified of their exes. Most have been in abusive relationships, and i wouldn't want them to have to relive those terrible experiences over and over.
With that being said, i think the best thing to do is respect their decisions. If you're friends with your ex, cool. If you don't want to have anything to do with them, that's cool too. n_n

How do you feel about those overly photoshopped photos of models/actors on magazines? Do you think that it is just, since they were paid to look that perfect? Or do you think that this sets a bad example to everyone, especially children?

BratPrince’s Profile PhotoNᴀʀᴄɪssᴜs
Setting a good example for the younger generation is something that i care about greatly. It frustrates me so much when individuals are given the opportunity to influence a large amount of people (particularly children & teenagers) as well as be a decent role model for them, but they throw it away. I don't understand it and i most likely never will.
I'm all about being body positive. Fat babes, thin babes, and all sorts of body types are welcome. People being comfortable and happy in their skin & body is really important. The thing is though, in the society that we human beings have created for ourselves -- this type of stuff is normal. It bothers me a lot and I don't think it's okay. It's actually really damaging.

What is your religion?

For years, (literally, years) I've been struggling internally. I was born and raised in a home where my family somehow merged Protestantism and Messianic Judaism together and practiced it. I was okay with it for a while, but i quickly became unsatisfied. I always felt like I wasn't doing enough, or more specifically, like that was not the path for me. I needed something more.
As a result, I've finally started to involve myself in the Eastern Orthodox Church. Everything seems so simple, yet beautifully complex. Knowing that we observe the holy scriptures that have not been tainted at all, and all of our deeds are in accordance & are a full manifestation of Christs' teachings give me a peace of mind.
That is what i feel comfortable identifying with!!! :-)

If you could put your mind to it, do you think you could successfully write a book?

I've always wanted to write a book!!
I think it'd be a super fun & exciting experience for me. I'm all for adventures so that would definitely be a cool thing to get into in the future.
Writing is one of my favorite things to do. It gives me some sort of outlet to express myself. I also have a super wild imagination, so it probably won't be too hard. n_n
