Are antismoking ads effective?
Every smoker knows that smoking is bad for him/her.They are not delusional.Cigarettes cause more deaths than cocaine, accidents, AIDS,heroin,alcohol,suicide & homicide;combined. Smoking is an obstimate habit. No matter, how many times the smoker promises to quit,he/she goes back to his/her habit, without trying, every single time. As already mentioned tobacco has a devastating affect on health and economic impact on people.
Back to the question“The Anti smoking"ads leave a considerable impact on the younger generation,making them aware of the ill effects of smoking. However,these ads not have a desirable impact on the adult population, who are already got addicted to smoking as despite their desire to quit smoking.
