1. To throw away the burden from our heads (hair is no burden we love it :P )
2. To make a starting to a new personality from the nerdy one...to be more badass :D
3. The most reasonable reason....they've probably grown into a mess as not cut for a long time due to exams -.- :P
but yes....its a trend..to show that you're really feeling awesome after winning a great war :/ :D
