Ah I'm very sorry! I have a problem where I do not realize that something is offensive. I often only realize these things afterwards so I put the last sentence in by default to try and not sound offensive in case I do. I have insomnia myself so I understand what you mean. I just figured I'd give a bit of advise since I know from first-hand experience that even the smallest miswording can make a whole message sound very mean or rude to someone over the internet since there is no point of reference for the tone or personality behind the person sending the words. It can cause a lot of upsetting situations, so I feel it is always best to reread and reword before the trouble can start. n_n

(Don't worry, I'm not upset with you at all!~ I was a little upset by the message when I first read it, but I got over that pretty fast. X3)

u.u nuuu I just wrote an entire poem about rainbows and now the eyes of #630 aren't changing T_T Well, still a cool idea anyway but maybe check it next time before you write it down? Also, can the plum have rainbow coloured eyes? (I don't mean this in a mean way sorry if you thought that ^^')

The eyes can be any color(s) you like if you win as long as they aren't color changing.

As for the change in idea, when you've been unable to fall asleep for 3+ hours because every time you close your eyes you start to have a panic attack, and you just get up and come up with the most froofroo idea you can to distract yourself from the dark thoughts, waiting for someone to answer a question first isn't your biggest priority.

I put a fair warning in the description right under the idea saying it very well might change, which honestly was more common sense than I would have expected of myself at the time considering how tired and stressed I was.

I understand that you didn't necessarily mean to sound offensive, but if you feel that your words might be hurtful, they probably are and a re-reading and re-wording of them would be kind to the person you send them to and much more meaningful than simply tagging on at the end that your message that felt very much like an attack wasn't meant to be that way.

If anyone's been watching my progress via my to do page [linked in my siggie], they may have noticed that as of this morning, the grading process jumped from 50% done to 80% done as I sat down and had the time to read last night!~
Once I am done grading, it's just a matter of looking through the top 5 forms to decide via character who will win, so I'd estimate a winner can be announced within the week, hopefully the weekend, but as I am visiting my parents this weekend for my mom's birthday, I may end up too busy with family and friends for it to be finished before I get home after Tuesday.

I spoke with Swifty and it seems that they are very busy both with college and getting used to their new position as a CS Oekaki Mod, so judging hasn't been at the top of their priority list. They have however been working on it with a friend and said they think they are nearly done. n_n

If you've applied for leader, I am going to read through and pick the two most qualified possible leaders for their particular clan they've chosen. I will put those up in a poll for everyone to judge on. Then, after leaders are chosen (24 hours of voting) then deputy and leader apps that didn't make leader will be available for deputy choices that the leader will choose their deputy from.

Medicine cats will just be picked by me depending on which ones fit their clan best.

There's not really a chance to pick a backup-choice, sorry!
If there are positions left unfilled after this process though, those positions will still be up for grabs.

What is the longest you've ever gone without any sleep?

I believe it was the summer of 07 or 08 when my brother and I power-watched nearly 70 episodes of Inuyahsa without sleeping or eating much. It was almost 50 hours without sleep and it was ridiculous of us.

I can't even remember much about the show now except for jewel shards of some kind and what most of the main characters looked like along with a few of the villians and of course Inuyasha and Kagome's names, so I think perhaps watching it all within a two week span and not sleeping much in that time didn't really leave a lasting impression of anything except exhaustion and my brother and I egging each other on with complaints of either "Just one more episode!" or "I'm going to keep watching without you if you go to sleep." (This last one is only affective because we were- and still are- very close and genuinely want to watch things together at the same time, rather than watching even one episode apart if we are going to watch something together at all. Examples of things we watched (and some we are in the process of watching) include: Inuyasha, Bleach, lots of other anime, Wolf's Rain(this time with a mutual friend), Legend of Korra, Gravity Falls, etc.)

Isaac: "Uh, eternally is like, forever. They mean the same, uh, thing I think. Kind of like the um words errr happy and joyful? Well actually I uh those mean slightly different things but kind of... Similar?" ( Whoo go Marce xD Lol yea Isaac is such a lost romantic xD )

For the Siamese kitten, does the "like a cat" have to be true, about cats? I've seen a few forms that aren't really true, so I was wondering about that.

The reason I don't do this is because judging is a lot harder for me than anything else I do for plumerians and it takes me a very long time as I am an excessively slow reader. I can draw something in an hour and it is relaxing to me, but judging is stressful for me, and even the simple, short contests take me at least an hour or two to get through because I make a point to completely read through and consider every completed form.

Being a college student, I don't often have a ton of free time even on the weekends, so I prefer to use my shorter periods of free time doing what I enjoy and what helps me relax. I save judging for when I have larger windows of free time so that I don't over work/stress myself and can actually make decent progress.

Thank you so much for offering your advice, but I am an adult and I know how to manage my own schedule. n_n

It really depends on the forms themselves, but having glanced through a few of the forms when I was checking for questions during the time the contest was running, I will tentatively say that I probably will be making a RU or two for this contest.

Since I am grading each form for grammar, spelling, etc., I'm spending quite a while on each form, but I am nearly half way done now and have only been able to be actively working on it for about two weeks so far since my internet issues made it very difficult to do anything on CS over the summer. I am really sorry for the wait, but it should definitely be judged in the next few weeks!~
