/ Everybody who roleplays is seeking attention, anon. It's come down to our knack for popularity since technology became a big deal. Everybody wants somebody to idolise them or say "Damn, I wish I was friends with him/her." it's become our way of life. Stop causing unnecessary drama.

/I see statuses always asking for friends. For people to give you attention. Yet, you have people all over your wall, kissing your ass. How much attention does one (adult) person need?

|. Seriously? What's wrong with posting a status asking if anyone wants to talk? I may have friends, but that doesn't mean, I'm not allowed to have new ones as well. Some people tend to be very shy and it gives them a chance to start a new friendship, just by pressing 'like'. I get how hard it is for some people to start a conversation. And those on my wall...they're not kissing my ass, they're my friends. It's not about attention, it's about meeting new interesting people who I maybe wouldn't get to meet otherwise. And if people are jealous of that, it's not my problem. I'm here to meet as many people as possible ooc and ic. The end.

Does it bother you when people lie about their name/appearance? If it does why?

|. I'm going to answer this ooc, because I think it was meant to be answered this way. I think people like about it, because they feel insecure. Most people on roleplay are dealing with a lot in real life, maybe were even judged for the way they look, which unfortunately happens a lot nowadays. And they wish they'd look like someone else, so when someone asks them about their appearance, they lie about it. They make it sound like they're "better" looking than they actually are. If it helps build up their confidence at least a little bit and if it makes them feel better about themselves at least for that minute, I say go for it. If they lie about their name, they're simply being private, which is completely reasonable too.
But when it comes to lying about their appearance. Show us your true self. Here you'll find better and nicer people than in person, I can assure you. I'm one of those who don't feel comfortable in my own skin, but I simply accepted the fact that nobody's perfect. And we need to embrace our own beauty, not hide from it.
