Hard to tell right now since they lost a really talented senior class. Most of their offense was centered around Mookie Pounds and David Little. Plus their top 3 tacklers were seniors. Clayton Knight is a good player to build around at QB but next year may be a rebuilding season for the Tigers.
I hope so! We did make a run at the comeback earlier in the season so there's reason for optimism. I'm coming in with a nothing to lose attitude so I hope that works.
Baldwyn might be starting a freshman at shortstop. John Swinney. You think he will do good?
John could be the greatest shortstop that ever played the game of baseball. Derek Jeter is jealous of his talents. (John, if you're reading this: I think you'll do great and I'm pumped to see you out there)
It may be farther down but I've answered your question many, many times. I'll paraphrase my initial answer for you: Smithville, Hamilton, Nanih Waiya, Ingomar, and Myrtle would be 5 of my best teams in 1A from the area.
I've had this question before many a time. I'm sure you can scroll down and find the answer on my timeline!
Seems like you always count bruce out
Just because I don't mention them doesn't mean I am 'counting them out'. If you remember back in football season, I was the only one who thought they would win their first round playoff game. So that hardly entails me hating Bruce.
What sports do you think Smithville will do well at this year?
Baseball & Softball for sure. That will never change!
Do you think Eupora will be better than EW or the other way around? They were both good last year!
I think they're dead even, as evidenced by how close their 2A North Final series was. I'd still give the slight edge to Eupora since they went to the 2A title a season ago but they're both VERY good.
