yes! I feel your pain. top level competitors go through phases of using tape to protect their fingers.... but it hurts the most before you have developed thick skin on your fingers :-/

I've gotten 2 concave one stars and the bearing has shot in both. What's up? Is it because it has no spacers?
Are the bearings really shot or are they over tightened? Try the bearing in a different yoyo or try clean the bearings.

Which should I get; Glow protostar or icon collection protostar?
Color preference is the biggest factor, unless you seriously play in the dark a lot. Seriously tho the glow us probably 1.5-2gm heavier if that suits your preference
