I wish plastic yo-yos like Protostar and Northstar will be revived again like how the pros used plastic yoyo to won the WYYC. Will YYF focus on making a plastic yoyo like that again?
We still do make them.

Depends. Humidity, how hard you throw, yoyo type, bearing fit, maintenance performed, how often you smack things.....

Any major difference in performance between CT and CT X?
CTX has more friction, handles more load, doesn't spin as fast but is preferred by many. It offers a different feel, less noise and tends to be more durable.

Would a yoyo like the genesis, when made out of titanium increase it's play quality or would it only make a subtle difference?
Based on our calculations the $500 price tag would limit its performance significantly.

None. We use center trac bearings as they allow the string to naturally slide.
I heard loop series yoyos slip a lot. As in the adjustment system. Is this true for the 1080s?
Only if you do not set the gap up correctly (ie adjust it using the dial, add live as required). These yoyos have been used to win almost every major contest in the world. Most of them STOCK, unmodified.

Ekk. Lubricate in a thin oil. Cross your fingers. Don't use water in the future. Try a solvent then add oil/lube to taste.
