What type of lube do I put on the Loop 360? Do I have to put lube before I play the 360? How much do I put on the 360?
Yoyo factory loop/response lube is great. A tiny drop on the race if each bearing. It won't hurt to lube it before use.
Too much is bad. Don't get lube on the pads!

What if your loop 1080 axle gets stripped? Now what?
with normal use it is impossible. If you deliberately try you probably couldn't strip it. So if you did, I would recommend you don't do whatever you did to strip it again.

in your opinion, for a beginner, should they get CZM8 or Shutter? seemingly these are the 2 most affordable metal yoyos.
Whatever one you like the look or color of. They both will be capable of anything you can dream if performing.

Shape, weight, distribution of that weight, ultimately impacting the speed through the air, performance on the string and suiting the tastes of the player (if they have developed tastes). If they have not developed tastes just pick your fav color.
