What are response pads? What are they for? When do you have to change them? Which brand would you recommend?
They allow the string to generate spin and facilitate the yoyo returning. Change them when they wear away and it impacts spin generation or response or they fall off.We use CBC pads because they are the best. You can use whatever fits.
I put bearing lube(thin)on my yoyo and now it dosen't sleep that long anymore please tell me how to make it sleep longer again? Also does putting to much drops make it sleep shorter?
Yes, all lube adds drag. Play with it more and it will get back to being perfect. A drop is usually enough.
I'm really loving my Victor Gravitsky Protostar. It's not my first but I think it's so pretty lookin. Plays great too! Are there any other clear colorways (for any of your yoyos) in the works?
I've noticed Store Rewind selling clear red/black caps Loop 1080. Are those original and certified YYF products? Also what strings are best to use on loop 1080?
what does the align key for the loop 900 or loop 1080 does? i still dont get it whether you tighten it or loosen it.
It makes the gap wider and narrower changing loop angle and responsiveness
If i leave the spacer how do i lube the bearing can you show me a picture on how to lube a protostar?
It comes with a dry bearing, which is how most people play it. Lube however is viscous so if you add a drop to the space between bearing and spacer it will play in.
There something stuck to my bearing in my protostar am i suppose to take it out what is it for? How can i take it out without the yoyo tool?
Spacer. It is part of the yoyo. Leave it in there.
