What was the string that came with the Shutter? It was yellow right? But it feels much better than the other green strings that I got from the other YYF Yoyos. Was it a Stock YYF string or a yellow K-string? Because the yellow string from the shutter feels much better than my green K-string too.
Don't know what K string is but the yellow us the same as the green.
How does the 7075 Catalyst play compared to a Stacked Catalyst with stacks taken off? I'm developing my wish list haha.
The stacked one is blasted making it my personal fav.

Will protostar last long with stock bearings as long as i lubricate it?
Depends in the user. Pay it the respect if being a precision made high performance item it will last a long time. Treat it like a plastic toy it will last as such.

I was just playing with my shutter and all of a sudden, the bearing just stops spinning and will barely move. When I try to do a trick, it will randomly make a loud grinding noise quickly and/or stop spinning almost immediately. Help?
Either gunk in the bearing or the balls have a flat spot. Clean it, lube it, play it. if no improvement, new bearing time.
hey, would you guys tell me how to take the bearing out? i d like to put the superstar's bearing to my new shutter because the superstar damaged so much and the bearing is so hard to take off
We have a tool (yoyofactory multi tool) or look for 'severe bearing removal' for a YouTube guide by Tyler.
