There will be more than one finish offered. The first colors will be shiney like the original superstar offerings.

A lot of our design themes have been explored and developed by others. Surprisingly SUPERSTAR still stands unique. We wanted to push it ourselves. The zero wall (pioneered on catch22) is paired with a wider physical build. The volume is still very sleak overall allowing speed and power to mixed in a way only Yoyofactory attempts. It's a great balance of extremes. The final product definitely the sum of a lot of great parts.

my supernova has its axle the wrong way round (the alan key hole is on the inside of the yoyo when unsrewed). any tip or guides on how to remove it? it is unlike the genesis where you can see the axle from the outside as the supernova side is covered up. thanks

It is not designed to be removed.

Hi ism from India , and very new to yoyo. I just bought Fast 201 yoyo from Singapore , but there's no one to teach me or can't find replacement strings in India. Please help me , i am getting very attached to yoyo but don't know it well .

I want to buy the new Genesis, when will they hit the shelves?
Genesis will get a refresh layer this year. We were originally aiming for August but it became stacked with releases so we held off. There will be a limited number of Luis Enrique specification Genesis (7075 and two weights of 6061) released in August and the new general release will hit in October.
How can I fix this? I just brought a protostar from yoyoexpert and on the first throw it already has vibe.
Every protostar is hand tested before shipping. Make sure the arrows are aligned. If you still have problems contact yoyoexpert for replacement.

Why is the 888x so unstable?
In experienced hands this is called agile. If every yoyo was designed for the exact same purpose we would live in a boring world. Stability comes from large diameter and rim weight. These are characteristics of a lot if yoyos we make, never the 888.
